Prairie Hills Church of God was founded in 1904, by a group of men and women who had recently settled in Lemmon. To satisfy their need for a place of worship, this group, with the assistance of Rev. Williams, built Prairie Hills Church of God with money from their own pockets. Their selfless actions and hard work is the foundation of our congregation.
As Lemmon grew, so did Prairie Hills Church of God. Today we have more than 300 members from all walks of life. Throughout our one hundred year history, Prairie Hills Church of God members have started many ministries and missions in the Lemmon area. We are active in the community, and support those in need through our missionary work and charities.
Our Sunday bible study and worship is the foundation of Prairie Hills Church of God ministries. Individuals from a variety of backgrounds and walks of life attend our services weekly. Prairie Hills Church of God’s parishioners range in age from infants to centenarians.
All Lemmon residents who are interested in receiving the Lord into their lives are welcome to join us weekly at Prairie Hills Church of God.
